History

2024 Year's History
  • The Japanese social impact investor, Gojo & Company, Inc., has become a new investor in Credo Bank. This partnership enables the bank to provide even more accessible financial services to entrepreneurs and their employees
  • Credo Bank became the only member organization of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) in Georgia
  • The bank hosted the GABV European Regional Meeting 2024 in Tbilisi and, together with Mastercard, organized microfinance roundtables during the ADB Forum
  • Credo Bank signed a $10 million agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
  •  As part of its social responsibility efforts, Credo Bank launched the project “Master the Profession of the Future” to promote education and employment opportunities for young people in Georgia’s regions
  • In partnership with the National Agricultural Olympiad 2024, Credo Bank awarded successful farmers with cash prizes
  • New products were launched, including:

o  Green Deposit

o  Da-Ka-Vi+

o  Mycredo International Transfers

  • Credo Bank organized a special event in Bologna to inform Georgian emigrants about financial access opportunities and provide remote services
  • New service centers were opened in Stepantsminda and Tbilisi (Digomi, Digomi Rcheuli Lounge, and Dadiani). Additionally, Gurjaani’s service center relocated to a new address, now featuring the Favorite Lounge
  • Credo Bank developed a communication campaign for “Social Enterprise Babale,” supported by the European Union and organized by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) as part of the fifth Pro Bono Marathon of the Georgian Pro Bono Network
  • Credo Bank awarded scholarships to three students with the highest national exam scores at Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State University
  • Credo Bank actively participated in initiatives by the financial education portal Finedu, awarding 1,000 GEL to a teacher who won the “Financial Education at School” competition and 1,000 GEL to the winner of the Youth Day competition
