Greening of the Zugdidi Botanical Garden

October 2026, Credo Bank and Green Deposit customers will take part in a greening activity at the Zugdidi Botanical Garden.
As part of the project, an area of up to 3 000 sq. m. will be greened, with up to 15 unique and exotic tree varieties planted, including different varieties of maple and magnolia.
The activity will contribute to diversifying the Botanical Gardenโs green spaces and supporting the preservation and promotion of unique plant species.
Current Project Details
The greening project at the Zugdidi Botanical Garden requires GEL 20 000 in funding.
As Green Deposit certificate holders and Credo Bank jointly contribute 1% of the interest to the Green Deposit Fund, a total of GEL 2 000 000 in Green Deposit certificates needs to be opened to fully fund the project. The minimum value of an individual Green Deposit certificate is GEL 1 000.
