The World Savings Day is commemorated globally on October 31 and entails series of events aiming at promoting savings culture.

The Savings Week has been launched in Georgia on November 1 and has undertaken activities throughout an entire month. Within the initiative, joint efforts of the National Bank of Georgia, the German Savings Banks Foundation for international Cooperation (SBFIC) and seven commercial banks have announced a competition of blogs with the following theme: “Major changes with minor savings”. The National Bank of Georgia has launched the first digital educational platform Finedu.ge, which has hosted the competition and entries have been accepted in the lead up to November 15. Meanwhile, 20 blog posts selected during the first round have been uploaded to the Finedu.ge. The competition has commenced with seven winners, one of whom will be awarded with a-one-year savings account at the Credo Bank, amounting to 500 GEL respectively.

The Credo Bank is committed to its social responsibility aspirations and strives to educate general public on financial matters and translate such knowledge to an improved social welfare and quality of life. Financial knowledge is vital for an improved and cost-effective lifestyle. Empowered society cultivates business.
